Richard Kirwan is the founder of Blackwater Recruitment which was established in 2017. Richard began his career in recruitment back in 2010 when he joined an actuarial specialist agency based in London. Being mentored and trained by qualified actuaries, Richard quickly gained a strong understanding of actuarial concepts and technical requirements.
In 2013, Richard moved to Australia and set up the actuarial desk for a national insurance recruitment firm based in Sydney before setting up Blackwater Recruitment in 2017.
Richard believes that his personal approach is fundamental to building great relationships with clients and candidates. He always strives for the best possible outcome for both parties and keeps up to date with latest market movements and trends.
